Panama
The Panama News Constituting the axis of friendliness "Right now people from all kinds of nationalities constitute an axis of friendliness throughout the world. ... People like these, and their intelligent allies, constitute an axis of friendliness, working to enhance the peace of the world" emphasize the initiators of the World's Greatest Smile, Meike Duch & Andreas Lietzow. "If it's very exciting from which countries people pronounced their participation till now. And everyone counts." Inspired by Mr. George W. Bush's idea of the "axis of evil" they want to point out that there is definitely a great global axis --- built from humans who believe that an intelligent and friendly communication will bring more peace and many more advantages for the world population. Everybody should feel free to participate in this worldwide project irrespective of nationality, color of skin, wealth, gender, age and even religion. And all kinds of people are appealed to smile at least for a moment wherever they are --- to show they are ready to take easily the responsibility for setting peaceful signs, and to demonstrate their wish for a future of friendship, harmony and security.”
Haiti
Moon, The choice for intelligent people, Haiti “If politics can’t give efficient signs for a peaceful future - people can Humans have to breathe if they want to survive - no matter if they are Muslims, Jews, Christians, any other religion or even atheists. They have to drink and eat to stay alive - no question of the colour of their skin. Humans cry and smile to express emotions, regardless of which nationality they are. Smiling is hereditary; it’s in the human genes. Yes, some men want to live in peace and even more understood that war is not an intelligent way of finding a solution - it’s a sign of not being able to find a better argument. Reading the history books it has to be obvious that war was neither a smart solution nor will be. Politicians should be bright enough to learn. People are – now it’s time to show. At January 25th 2005 people from all over the world will take their chance to demonstrate their willingness for a peaceful future for themselves and the next generations. Whatever colour of skin, gender, wealth, age or even religion they have. Everybody is invited to take part in the World’s Greatest Smile initiated by Meike Duch & Andreas Lietzow. All kinds of people are appealed for smile at least for a moment to show they are ready to take easily the responsibility for setting peaceful signs. They take matters into their own hands to let politicians from all over the world see their whish for a future full of friendship, harmony and security for their children.”
Germany
Yahoo Deutschland Nachrichten “Am 25.
.... Na dann smilet mal schön!
Iran
Iran Daily Axis of Friendliness “Right now people from all kinds of nationalities constitute an axis of friendliness throughout the world. ... So people from all over the world will demonstrate their willingness for a peaceful future for themselves and the next generations, including among others journalists, politicians, artists, managers, schoolchildren and world record-holders. People like these, and their intelligent allies, constitute an axis of friendliness by working to enhance peace in the world. It’s very exciting to know people from which countries have announced their participation till now. And everyone counts. Inspired by Mr. George W. Bush’s idea of “axis of evil”, they want to point out that there is definitely a great global axis--built by humans who believe that an intelligent and friendly communication will bring more peace and many more advantages for the world population. And all kinds of people are appealed to smile at least for a moment wherever they are to show they are ready to take the responsibility of setting peaceful signs and demonstrate their wish for a future marked by friendship, harmony and security.”
